Coffee grounds in new Mazzer grinder - normal?

Postby 703Eric on Sun Jan 06, 2008 11:21 am

HI Everyone, I just received my Mazzer Mini E. Upon pulling it out of the box I noticed that the grinder had been used at some point (a bit of grinds in the burrs). My question is, does Mazzer test these units with beans or did I get a demo passed off as a new unit. Thanks in advance!

Yes, most manufacturers test the grinders before shipment. It's normal.

I purchased 10 new Mazzer Majors last year and they included "tested by" slips in the dosers.
