Interesting...there's another poster on CG--cprice88-- who also just ordered a Ceado 37s from WLL who is also having issues:

Their issue is that the grinder horizontally shoots grounds.....

I was on the fence comparing Ceado E37 with the Compak E8. Because Chris's Coffee has such a stellar reputation and Compak has been in the grinder game for a long time, I went with the Compak. Zero issues, rock solid.

Well that's disheartening. Hopefully these are isolated cases/lemons.

Hi,
I just received an email from WLL "Based on the video, something is mis-aligned underneath the burrs, and would necessitate us issuing a shipping label to bring this machine back in to be exchanged out."
I am hoping that the next one will not have issues.

Adjusting the flap will control all those grounds that fly straight at you. Mine WAS that way and now has settled down to grinding nicely into a basket.doublehelix wrote:Interesting...there's another poster on CG--cprice88-- who also just ordered a Ceado 37s from WLL who is also having issues:

I noticed you have a Forte listed. How does the Ceado compare?

It is a BP model so cannot compare and I never really tried to retune it for espresso anyway.
The HG1-E (powered HG-One) is my other espresso grinder.

I didn't try to get a refund! I am interested in having this grinder, and the price works for me. Meanwhile, I am waiting for a much better customer service and waiting times like ones from amazon, regarding the issuing the shipping label.SonVolt wrote:Will they refund your money if you insist?

Good luck with the wait! Call Mark Jackson from WLL and see what he can do. I had great difficulty with WLL Customer Service (should be called Customer Dis-Service).
