From Buzzle.com:
The Latest in Kitchen Appliances: Baratza Vario Burr Coffee Grinder wrote:One of the most awaited grinders that was first announced in 2007. The Baratza Vario was finally released in Jan. 2009 and this is one of the few reviews covering its innovative technology that also provides tips for consumers.

One of the most recent additions to the Baratza line, the Vario Burr Grinder is an exclusive grinder that has been awaiting public release since 2007. It was first announced at the SCAA Minnesota conference and promised to be available to the public during Q1 2009 (expected to be January).

At first glance, it is difficult to distinguish this grinder from the other three grinders released from Baratza, a Washington based coffee corporation. However, the price for this grinder is quite noticeable. It is predicted stateside to start around $430.00. So, what really sets this grinder apart from others and why would someone need such an expensive piece of equipment?

I like the taking it to the next LEVER! Yaz! :D

Wow, great grammar and 'mechanixs.' That's a pretty despicable article. Factually incorrect... and isn't that Mark Prince's picture? A tasty copyright violation?

Did any one follow the link at the bottom of that "article" to the authors web site.

If you feel like having a shiver run down your spine check it out.
I particularly liked the page about Coffee Machines, it was edumacational.

What ever you do, DO NOT read the pages about grinders, for the love of god don't do it. I warned you.

Edit: I am sure the author is a nice guy and means well this is not meant as an attack.

Hilarious article.

The author is apparently unaware that if your lever machine is a two or three group you can
ALWAYS take it to the next lever.
What is a little more interesting is that although it does include the hopper and ground catcher, this grinder does not come with directions.
Yeah. Where are you supposed to put the beans?

I though about this post as it might have been a bad idea to put that link on this site.
I feel dirty and must now turn off the computer for at least 4 hours.

DeLonghi, known for as the Ferrari of the espresso world, makes its name on the list with the EC140.
Wow, didn't realize that.

And, I don't think any of our machines made it on his top 10 list.

with the exception of Silvias

In his defense, the list is most popular, not best.
