What is the key lock for on your machine? Looks like a high security ace II keyway. Has it got some radio active isotopes in there?

I think I will still wait on this grinder (since I already committed to one) and at very least it will do some of the tasks Big Max can't do as easily. Worst case will be to gift it to my Dad for permanent mocha pot duty.

at least you don't have to worry about losing them.

Quick update--Kyle has been in contact with us since Friday; he believes that, for reasons unknown as yet, the burrs aren't parallel against each other, and this accounts for the issue I've discovered. He's going to send Dan and I review units directly from Baratza when they arrive next week, while PT's continues to support the review with their excellent coffee. We will pick things back up then and hope that this issue is resolved with the production units.

Nicholas, maybe this is a good time to ask the people at Baratza to let you open up the grinder:)
