WOW, New Factory Original All Stainless Steel Cremina Accessories!

Having just completed the overhaul of my 1977 Cremina, I wanted to replace the missing Olympia accessories. Olympia Express no longer offers the junky plastic accessories, but rather has a beautiful set of stainless steel accessories as provided with the Cremina 2002. I ordered a set and they just arrived. What a terrific upgrade to my Cremina! I particularly like the stainless knock box as opposed to the old plastic one. The new heavy duty spoon is designed with the proper coffee volume and does a good job as a proper size tamper as well! What a great addition to any Cremina or other Olympia machine.

They are beautiful and their functionality is perfectly in keeping with the Cremina personallity...



...But the original accessories. Plastic, yes. But junky?

I don't use these every day but they are now part of my travel kit.

Actually, I quite like the original accessories and they do a good job, but they certainly are not a match for the superb quality and elegance level of the machine. The current stainless steel ones are a beautiful compliment to the machine.

I have just learned that Olympia Express is now offereing the stainless steel accessories as a complete set with a reduced price from their individual prices. The part number is 09.0067.00.02. It includes the combination scoop-tamper, the knock box, the funnel and the frothing pitcher, all in stainless steel. The price for the set is SrF 160 (about $130) plus shipping.
