I thought that this might be of interest to all of the espresso aficionados out there. Yesterday, I drove up to Albany NY and spent the day with Chris at Chris' Coffee Service. What I found upon my arrival far exceeded my expectations. This is a big, well established operation, about 20,000SF by my estimate, and they have been in biz for 25+ years to boot. In a nutshell, they have a meticulous warehouse (they clean the floors with a zamboni!), a top notch tech and sevice room, and a showroom with a dozen or so commercial and consumer machines connected and running for testing. The icing on the cake was the staff, they were friendly, knowlegeable, and genuinely interested in espresso. When Chris and I started pulling shots in his showroom the staff members started gathering around one by one asking questions, exchanging ideas, and practicing techniques with us. It was obvious that the folks at this company take pride in what they do. If you are in the area, check them out, it's definitely worth the visit.

I believe in giving credit where credit is due, kudos to the crew at Chris'.
