Would anyone know the decibel level of the Vibiemme Domobar Semi-Auto w/ a vibe pump? Furthermore, is there a satisfactory method of reducing the noise level even further with proper insulation? Would love to hear from Vibiemme owners as well.
Many thanks.

It took a little tweaking of the cover with rubber strips to eliminate the reverberation, then the Vibiemme Domobar Super was no louder than other vibratory pump machines I've used (and maybe a little quieter). Below are a few related threads from the FAQs and Favorites Digest:
I don't know the noise level in decibels. As a nearly universal rule, vibe pump espresso machines aren't quiet. I "outboarded" my machine's vibe pump to the cabinet below and now it's about the same sound level as an inboard rotary pump espresso machine. Of course, not many want to go to that extreme...

Thanks, Dan for the thread referrals. The outboarding of the vibe pump is a great idea. Appreciate your help. Sol

When I got my machine, I moved the plumbing a bit to ensure no contact with the case.
Also secured a couple of errant bits of the wiring loom where the connectors could rattle against the metal work.

I added two strips of rubber under the drip tray and a cut down sink mat to the top.
A slight upward bend, ~1mm, to the drip tray cover prevents it from rattling against the bottom of the valve drain.

Noise level is < 60db @ 1m, C weighting. Several people have asked if it's a rotary  It's quieter than any similar machine I've used.
