I have a very old pavoni the kind with the massimo minimo switch. Bought it off craigs to see if I could fix it. So there is no wiring to speak of, but the switch is there. I need to bits of info for starters.
A:Since this doesn't have a pressure stat like my other pavoni does anyone have a diagram of how the heater elements are switched.
And B: how does this base come off, there is a large BRASS FLANGE (like the plastic flange on the newer pavonis, and attached to that is a large grey metal puck (the heating element) I am going to post pics soon to clear this up, but I thought maybe someone here has first hand knowledge of the possibilities.....

Thanks as always, Patrick.

Checkout http://www.pavoniexpress.com He's got some wiring diagrams for various Pavoni models (Look under the "Visual Aids" link)..

Here are a couple of pics that I took of the wiring on one of my double switch Pavonis.

I originally took these pictures after replacing the wiring and switch on this unit. I know that with all the protective covering it is probably hard to see the details but perhaps this will help.
If you have a multimeter you will be able to define the high wattage coil and wire according to the Pavoni site give in the previous post.
