Just saw this new machine from 1st line for only $995 incl shipping.

Going to be a great buy at that price (very close to silvia, silvano, etc)

Specs:
  • E61 Grouphead - hot water circulates from the heat exchanger through the grouphead and back to keep
  • the grouphead and your portafilter nice and hot
  • Manual three way solenoid valve allows back to back espresso extractions
  • Large 1.8 liter copper boiler provides ample steam power for home and office use
  • Boiler pressure gauge
  • Multi-directional steam wand allows the user to pivot the steam wand in the right position for milk frothing and steaming
  • Multi-directional hot water wand allows movement for larger and smaller cups. We recommend not pulling out more than 4 ounces at a time and to wait for the pump to complete refilling the boiler before pulling an additional 4 ounces
  • Easy on/off switch to turn power on and off
  • Green light indicator for power
Removable water reservoir for easy cleaning - should be cleaned with detergent every two weeks
  • Low water switch: A low water cut off switch is underneath the reservoir to power off the machine when the reservoir is low on water
  • XP700 Mater pressurestat: this is an upgraded version
  • Parker solenoid valve utilized to control the automatic refill of the boiler
  • Small-style over pressure valve is used to maintain the compactness of this machine
  • Anti-vacuum valve is incorporated to remove any vacuum from the boiler when it cools down.
  • Frame: Stainless steel (not polished)
  • Body: Polished chrome colored plastic side panels and stainless steel back and front vertical body panels
  • Removable stainless steel drip tray with plastic insert and stainless steel drip tray cover add a really nice touch
  • Stainless steel cup warmer tray
  • Measurements: 15" H x 14.5" W x 17" D (38.1cm H x 36.83cm W x 43.18cm D)
  • Accessories: One dual spout portafilter, single dose filter basket, double dose filter basket, rubber insert for backflushing, coffee measuring scoop, grouphead cleaning brush, removable electrical cord for 110 volt outlet, and water tank refill spout
  • Weight: 31 pounds (14 kilograms)
  • Power: 1200 Watts, 110 Volts
  • Boiler capacity: 0.48 gallons (1.8 liters)
  • Water tank capacity: 0.79 gallons (3 liters)
  • Color: Polished stainless steel
  • Warranty: 1 year parts and 90 days labor limited to manufacturer's defect
  • ETL Listed - not even some of the more expensive machines have this rating from a product safety testing agency
  • Made in Italy

Looking forward to see reviews on this machine, but just from reading specs, things I would want to see in it:
- Rotary pump (w. option to plumb in)
- Autofill does not kick in during extraction
- Temperature readout of water as it exits grouphead to have accurate flushing (very moddable of course)

I merged your topic with an existing one on the same subject. Please note that's an introductory price. The regular price is $1600.

Wow, that's cheap for an E61. Looks nice too. Never heard of the brand though.

*Manual three way solenoid valve allows back to back espresso extractions
- That is an odd way to say that. A solenoid is normally an electromagnetic device. It appears to be a standard E-61 manual group with manual exhaust valve as in other such E-61s.

*Boiler pressure gauge
- No brew pressure gauge.

*Multi-directional hot water wand allows movement for larger and smaller cups.
- The long hot water wand is quite nice.

*Easy on/off switch to turn power on and off
- FINALLY they have done away with those difficult power switches!

*Removable stainless steel drip tray with plastic insert and stainless steel drip tray cover add a really nice touch
- Vibiemme take note! You could learn something here from this drip-tray cover!

Just to make a couple of note... these specs can change, so they are only as good as the day posted here. We already made some changes to our web page this morning as we learned there was some insulation on the water reservoir wall and a few other things.

As for these additional upgraded items, it will never happen on this machine it is just to small inside.

Although this is an introductory price, I doubt the future selling price will be the list price at $1600. The price will go up after the sale is over, but not to $1600.
