They really have made it possible with the 'Spend $99+ and get 6 months to pay , Subject to credit approval. See terms'

If you can pay it over 6 months it is only $1410 a month, entry level espresso setup.

So I am in the Charelston Airport and I see this machine. Pretty pictures! And look, they have espresso! They define espresso as "extra strong coffee" Not too sure I would agree with that limited definition, but I'm willing to give it a try.

This is the output chute. Not too sure about this. Started it up, and didn't hear a grinder. :) Not a good sign.

And... Here is the result. Look at that crema!

It was tepid. I can't say it was bitter or sour. It really just didn't taste much like anything at all. It made me want to cry. 0/10 stars.

You must have been desperate. I can't believe you actually drank it!

I was actually just curious to see how bad it could be. I only had a few sips.

I consider my curiosity adequately satisfied. My guess is that internally it was something like a Keurig machine.

Alex, he|| would be less of an adjustment for you than me because you would already know what the espresso tastes like.

It's a philosophical discussion. At what point does so-called espresso get so bad that it can't be considered espresso anymore? I would say that the espresso I drank bore absolutely no resemblance to what I would consider espresso. In fact, I don't know if I could even call it coffee.

With 43 shots, it had to be cold by the time he drank it. I bet it was vile.

It seems obvious that the Charleston health department is either corrupt, lackadaisical in their work, or the airport is out of their jurisdiction. That delivery chute was enough on its own for me to keep my coins in my pocket. Can you imagine what the difficult-to-reach internal workings look like? I think in my years of firefighting I had never faced anything so dangerous as tasting what came out of the machine. No amount of training nor drills would prepare you sufficiently to face that unknown. I bow to your superior bravery.

I'll say. That chute looks like a sh** storm hit it. Nasty!
