Owner experience with HG one grinder

Voila!
Very sturdy packaging.
Photo's don't do the finish justice. It's far finer and smoother than the prototype. The unanodized area looks just like my Macbook Pro.
Unfortunately, I have to work tomorrow morning, so I only ground two test shots to dial in the grind somewhat, before stopping. Paul recommends getting it in the general vicinity of your desired results first, then adding your measurement marking.
I'll be brewing like crazy Sunday night and moreso Monday morning when I'm off.

Your comments have me cracking up!FotonDrv wrote:The stop watch is indeed "Old School" but the analog scale though.... Archimedes is listening somewhere
My only analog scale weighs in grains, not grams and man is it touchy! I am probably not awake enough in the morning to operate it, but thanks for the visual imprint that leaves. Man pulling out what hair he has left, while trying to stabilize a beam scale with coffee beans
Patiently awaiting the 83mm HG-One...
Cheers!

Tom,
That looks great! I can't wait to get mine.
Now, I need to get a lever to go with it

Tom,
Thanks for posting the pictures. While the wait stinks, it won't hurt to wait a few more weeks.

Waiting patiently to pay my bill, but no email yet.
I eagerly await the creation of another fine "Owner Experiences with..." thread. This one should be epic.
I am half-tempted to keep this thing at home for a long while, and the Kony-E to work, and this was decidedly not the original plan.

Tom, you are a lucky dog, to have the HG-One in you possession! Did the the HG-One guys just walk it across town or was it shipped by a one of our favorite package manglers? If so, which shot putter got the large box to your door?
Excruciating pain while preparing the morning brew today; the wait is killing me

I tried and it was deleted. I agree with Dan that mega threads are a detractor for searching thru once they blow up into endless pages, but I still think folks are going to want to talk about their actual experiences with them. I guess we can all do our part by limiting the chatter that tends to happen that doesn't contribute to the device in question specifically.mivanitsky wrote:Waiting patiently to pay my bill, but no email yet.
