Bear in mind that this device doesn't tell you the brew pressure. It tells you the pressure against a blind basket. That will be greater than the brew pressure. To get the brew pressure, the device has to duplicate the flow rate of water running through the puck. You can do that with a needle valve, but it's quite challenging to adjust the flow rate. The Scace II uses a mesh plug and a tiny drilled hole to regulate the flow.

No. Those have an orifice size of ~0.035" whereas the proper size is ~0.012"-0.013".can you repurpose one of these?

you could solder the hole shut and carfully redrill it to a suitable size.

DellOrto 1486 carb jets go down to a size 30 (which is 0.3mm).
