Cool. Didn't know there was a Mini Matic. What's the difference between it and the Maxi?

The mini looks to be a SBDU machine instead of HX.hperry wrote:Cool. Didn't know there was a Mini Matic. What's the difference between it and the Maxi?

yes, it is. I figure it was a budget model attempt for Zabars NYC, I've yet to see one and it has not been used.

Cool! I never knew there was a third sibling in the family! Where did you find it? And you said it's unused? Keep us updated on performance and functionality. Maybe an interesting PID candidate!

On the aesthetic side, but inside there is no OPV, no 3 way valve, 53mm portafilter, so it is much more like an old brass boiler Saeco.CoffeeOwl wrote:Yea. Looks like Rancilio Silvia.

Saw that one on ebay...good to see it pop up again. Since this generally unknown Mini has popped up, and considering the Maxi, could there possibly be a Middie? Or would it simply be called the Matic? Not a catchy name but good things come in three's so there must be another one out there somewhere! Performance??

Lovely machine, Ed!
And like the Minimidimaximatic, Doug. Very Austin Powers (or Tunnel to Italians)!
