These are examples of places that serve coffees from multiple roasters using various brew methods. I suspect that one could have a terrific coffee in each of them. Certainly I have in the seven that I've actually been to. And I think it would be good to have a list of such spots for the Home Barista. Suggest ones you know about and I'll add them to this list. (Credit goes to Jake of Barracuda Coffee Co, Richland, WA who advised me of the existence of Indaba, thereby inspiring this idea for a thread.)

Attrition: Limestone went roast-alone.

My two favorite LA cafes:

Cognoscenti Coffee: 4 Barrel, Heart, Handsome, Coava last time I was there.
Cafe Demitasse: Equator, Augie's, Handsome, Portola (and full disclosure, occasionally stuff from me).

The Wormhole Coffee, Chicago

I don't know the extent, but I know that Metropolis Coffee has a guest coffee program. They have a rather nice write-up from a year ago explaining their logic being along the same lines of what beer brewing companies have known for a while, cooperation is the new competition.
If your tiny coffee is so great, then why don't you drink more of it?

These are two that I end up dropping into every now and again that serve a few different roasters, although I believe they do have a primary roaster.

Berkeley, CA; Local 123 (Four Barrel with rotating roasters)

Oakland, CA: Bica (Ecco Primary?)

I could be wrong on the Ecco being primary there, as I do get out there nearly as much as Local 123.

Nashville, TN: Barista Parlor and Dose.

Barista Parlor is brand new. They have ~6 roasters at a time and brew with many different methods, including espresso from a Slayer. Dose normally has 2-3 featured roasters and also brew with a variety of methods.

i'm a big fan of Cafe Demitasse, also.

I also enjoyed Balconi Coffee over in West LA (near sawtelle)
11301 W. Olympic Blvd #124
Los Angeles, CA, 90064
I know they offer Handsome, Cafecito Organico and maybe some others.
They do 100% siphon for their coffee and use a la marzocco linea with mahlkonig k30 grinder for espresso.
Also, i love that they're open till 10pm.

Gotta add Astro in Detroit. They rotate Ritual, Handsome, Sightglass, Anthology.

They are very consistent - one of the few places where regardless of barista, I know I'm going to get a good shot, with a good amount of body. Baristas here all seem trained to taste throughout the day and adjust as needed. Unpretentious, they love talking about coffee with geeks like me. Open to discussion, sharing, and teaching.

I usually have to get a pourover drip too.
