That's a really expensive grinder for something using knockoff Skerton burrs by the sound of that page. At least that's the impression I got from the Kyocera made burrs.

The freshness sensing technology in my head makes the pitch seem a little iffy.

I won't be backing it myself but I do appreciate the attempt to bring some new tech via the sensing technology. Ms Rose seems to hold a fairly high position in Modernist Cuisine, and anyone who has read that entire set of books knows how geeky they can get with this stuff.
