So while I've reconciled having to purge coffee from the grinder every morning I have found an alternate use for it other than just tossing it away in the trash can.

My wife likes iced lattes but when the ice melts, it dilutes the drink considerably. So I've started to collect all the purged grounds into a jar. Once I've collected enough, I make cold brewed coffee in a 1.5L french press. Then just pour into an ice cube tray (or 3) and freeze. When I make the iced lattes, instead of using regular water ice cubes, I use the coffee ice cubes. As the ice melts the iced latte actually gets stronger instead of being diluted.

Now my wife is happier.
