If the puck is evenly saturated and the extraction looks even coming out of the bottom of the basket then my guess is that the screen imprints on the puck aren't having any sort of negative effect. The puck expansion / screen imprint "could" <-conjecture here: be caused by a light tamp combined with the "fellini" style maneuver.

Although not dialed completely in I am finding better results with a harder tamp and 15.5g in the basket. The puck is staying together and extracting more evenly.

I'm following this thread with great interest since I have a machine with what I think is the same group as the Export, hence similar to Lusso.

What confuses me is the amount you can fit in the baskets. Does anyone know how deep the PV basket is?
