I periodically poll the sites of vendors and found two new tech bulletins with recent updates to the LM GS3 (dated December 2015):

A new display and keyboard (and new SW versions to match). Awe shucks! Gone is the elegant demonstration of Pavlovian conditioning of GS3 owners by doubling the function of the power button to pour hot tea water on your hands!

New coating for steam tubes and water spout.

I wonder what the new coating does...

I think the steam tubes are only for the Linea PB.

LOL, I am glad to see they did that. The first time I saw a gs3 I could not believe the on/off was coupled to the hot-water. Which, since the buttons are so far back, happens to be right over your hand . . .

Actually, I can't believe LM did not have a dedicated on/off switch. I am thinking something happened during the design like . . . "ah, how many control panels do we have on order? We kind of forgot one button . . ."

If you look at the PDF they mention part numbers for GS3.
