Anyone have any more info on this mod?? I'd love to 3d print one of these

I think it's an overengineered solution to a simple problem, but my main issue with it is that detracts from the HG-1 aesthetics.

The dosing funnel on the HG-1 leaves much to desire, due to one simple design oversight. The grinder module could have been lowered a bit, it would have made single dosing much more user friendly, as well as improve output flow into the blind tumbler (ie. less loose grounds). The lack of headroom makes it a bit difficult to dose beans from any cup, even the one provided. Countless beans have gotten loss in the process. Also the distance of the lower funnel and the blind tumbler results in lots of stray grounds as well.

If LW produces a taller tumbler that better mates with the bottom of the exit funnel, I would buy it. ) But as to the lack of headroom, the Bean Cellars have made it much easier to add beans to the hopper. I have yet to lose any beans.

Seems like it would be easy enough to 3d print a couple copies. I'd love to try one
