I have a 155 stainless and use the brown filters. I don't have a special kettle and am not gentle when I rinse the filter. I don't think I've ever had a filter collapse although I've only used the Kalita maybe 40 times. I've just been pulling the filters out of the box they came in one at a time. I have a couple of spare boxes, so a way to store them all in one container might be nice.
The more I learn, the more I realize just how much there is to learn.

The brown filters are much more rigid than the bleached filters. I never had any trouble with the filters collapsing until I switched to bleached filters.

I use stainless 155, bleached, no problems collapsing or shifting as yet. Bonavita PID gooseneck.
I keep the little cup at the brew station, the rest in the cupboard. I haven't brewed in the FP in ages --- at least this way it's still in use!
