How long have you owned your grinder? It took my Vario about 4 years to start to stress the plastic parts and loosen up to the point where grinds were inconsistent and difficult to dial in. And that was with just 1 shot/day on average. No more plasticated grinders for me.

I've not owned it in four years. I don't think plasticated is a word though.
