my hot water dispenser on my rocket seems to be slow. it starts off at a good pace for about the first 2-3 oz or so then starts shooting out alot of steam and barely dribbles any water at all. I was attempting to fill a cup with hot water for a large americano and was only able to get about 5 or 6 ounces before i gave up. Is this normal or am I missing something here?

The bottom half of the steam boiler is water, the steam pressure pushes some of that out, but it eventually flash boils turning into steam.. or something like that. Completely normal to my knowledge, that's why people don't recommend using those taps for americanos or tea, they are just too hot.

That doesn't seem to be normal. I wonder if the water level in the boiler is too low.

That's also a good idea, you might want to raise the water level probe.. do you get good steam pressure?
