Looks like you're a good 90 miles away. I work in the outskirts of the Boston area. You're still welcome to swing by sometime, but that would make for an awfully long lunch.Tomtg wrote:I am in the Pioneer Valley area. Is that close?

Just got my Lido 2 last night!
And wow! Thanks to all who steered me in that direction. SO much faster than my Hario hand grinders and better built and the coffee IS better!
I have no real reference but it may indeed be an older Lido 2 with the Italian burrs. A little effort is required. But for the speed and taste I don't care!
Although I now maybe have to buy a Lido 3 or E. I want one for my office and don't really want to lug it back and forth every day.
But yeah thanks! I am SO happy already and haven't even begun to to really tweak grind settings for my taste.

Good to hear . The Lido's take a few pounds to break in. My Lido2 burrs (ItalMill) were faster and much easier after a couple pounds of light roast.
