I was lucky enough to see the premiere of this documentary a few months ago. It goes behind the scenes to show us the astonishing work and dedication that goes into preparing to compete for a national barista championship. If you get around the better L.A. coffee bars, you will know some of these competitors.
There will be three screenings next week around Los Angeles and then more around the country. This is a full-length film, not Prima Coffee's short video of interviews of competitions.

Thanks for sharing, Marshall.
I was at the same coffee film festival you attended, but didn't stick around for the movie, I had a hot date (with the wife) that evening
I did see all the other films. Most of them were interesting, but one of them nearly put me to sleep, despite 4 cups of coffee in the foyer.
It was great, and I finally got around to checking out Portola, which was a few shops down. Neat little area, that place.

You're not always right, but when you're right, you're right, right?
