I'll shamelessly link to a recent post of mine about the Cimbali M21 DT/1 and my setup.
I highly recommended draining the machine if feasible. It's not a whole lot more work than just plumbing it in.
If you're considering this machine and haven't done so already, read Rich's review on CG. Then try to resist.
As far as I know, all M21's now have pre-infusion. You'll also read in my post that with a little help from my (Canadian) vendor, I essentially got a Casa.
One thing I noticed with the Cimbali that is not often mentioned in reviews: you can tell the stainless steel exterior is really high quality by the ease to clean it. A snap to keep shiny as new.
I've seen posts here recently about people having electronics issues or problems with the Profitec. Take that into consideration.
FWIW, after three months I'd definitely make the same choice.
