I always avoided freezing beans because I was told it hurt flavor, but that was obviously wrong and if it works I'm in. How do you defrost them, Marshall? Refrigerator or room temp? In sealed freezer container or open container? Other tips for best results?

My wife's been freezing ground coffee for years - I finally got her to stop by picking up a freshly ground bag every Friday for her (she makes drip & won't grind her own, and I leave for work before she makes her coffee). If I start freezing beans, she'll have a field day with me.......but that's OK. Thanks!

I'm showing $26/shipment for 2 12 oz bags. I wonder if pricing is location-dependent.
