so, despite the only sensible action being to sell off my gear and pay some DebtS, I decided instead to ask for a postal scale for my birthday from my mother in law. Currently on a diet so it has dual purpose, but this is my main purpose. It has made a huge improvement in my consistency and control of pulls. I highly recommend it. It's really mess right now, sorry about that, but wanted to share anyway. Need to take an action shot though...
