Does anyone have any experience with this coffee? Supposed to be roasted in Italian traditional style so I am not sure if I should start with 14g for a double and what temperature this coffee likes. Any suggestions? Thanks

Yeah, I would start at 14g and a lower temp, target 25 to 30 with a 14:28 brew ratio. Then go from there.

Anyone else have experience with this one? I bought 5# and it came in with no roast date, it taste slightly astringent with a woody cardboard finish which I usually equate to being stale but it doesn't look terrible on the pour so just looking for any feedback if you got it. I'm using a m21 dt jr and a super jolly. 17 in, 30 to 35 out in 30 sec at 201 in Ims baskets. I've tried finer grind and lower doses, cooler temps, shorter and tighter pulls but it just taste bad. I've pulled one good shot with it but unfortunately I was running out the door and not paying attention to details, so I am hoping it's just finicky and needs some caressing and not just old.
