I have a completely different set up and have only been serious (somewhat) with espresso for about a year or two now. Only reason I'm writing this is to give a thumbs up to the main squeeze. I roast my own and that is my go to blend right now. I am about a third of the way through my 8 # stash. This last roast, I went just a little bit darker than what his roast was. It really hit the spot. Good luck.

+1 on the Main Squeeze. It saved the day as far as getting a decent cup. Just pulled a cappy and a macchiato with good results. Still not a picture perfect shot but very drinkable in the cup, with some chocolate shining through.

I may try the Bonsai Blend with the Kalita and see how that goes. It is been tricky getting it right with very good and very bad results so far.
