Great choice! I've had mine for a few weeks now and it's a dream. So awesome.
I am using a normal 15 Amp 'heavy duty' wall timer ($10 on Amazon) and it works great. I'm running 15 Amp mode and the machine runs for about 8-12 hours a day. I've been pulling about 5-6 doubles per day and fill the water tank each night. It's usually about 1/3-1/2 full. I plan to plumbing in eventually, but right now it's pretty easy to fill the tank each night.
A quick tip: The 2-hole steam tip is a lot easier to get good microfoam vs the 4-hole tip. Unless you already have a lot of experience, I think the 4-hole tip is too powerful and everything happens too quickly. I can still foam enough milk for 1-2 8oz lattes in the time it takes to pull a shot.
Enjoy your new machine!
