Artisan and Yocto thermocouple

HI
I have an ozturk 10 k and I am trying to hook up a yocto thermocouple to artisan but I cannot get artisan to read the yocto. I am using 9.4 version of artisan and mac osx 10.3.
Does anyone have any advice?
