I just replaced the burrs on my md 50, but I find I cannot now get the top burr carrier to thread properly. It only goes about 1/4 inch into the threads before it starts to get very tight. I'm hesitant to put too much force on it as I don't want to strip the brass threads. Any tips on how to get it to reseat? Thanks.

Clean the threads thoroughly, and inspect for damage. standard procedure is to turn outwards until you feel the threads fall into place.
