Spoke with some people at EspressoParts about the issue, they instructed me to conduct a test. I left the machine POWERED ON for this test, and if anyone else does this, do so at your own risk. As most of you know, a pressurestat has contacts that open and close to cycle the element, when you adjust the pressure UP said contacts should close to engage the heating element, thus heating the boiler. Whilst turning the screws on my stat, the contacts never close, this is after about 10 turns. I also tried turning the pressurestat down, this had no effect on temp/pressure either, therefore I can pretty much say my PStat is gone, it will be missed. I've already ordered a replacement.

If the pressure is on its max at 1,4b you can't increase it.
And when you adjust this pressure down, the pressure has to go down before the contacts close up...
So your test don't absolutely mean your p-stat is dead. Anyway, if it was the machine wouldn't warm at all I believe

Tested last night, it's at 1.1 bar.

So it works up to 1,1 bar and then fails... possible.
