I am losing pressure rapidly when I am trying to steam milk. I have pulled out the steam wand valve out and all looks good. But when I steam I am getting a lot of steam coming out of the knob. (see pic below)



I am not sure if it is the rubber washer circled in this pic:



I tried getting to that washer but did not want to break anything I could not repair. Does anyone know if this piece breaks down further?

Thanks for the link to the pdf. It looks like the Mini Nova's steam valve is different from the design I have. I have the mini Wega formula. I think it was built in the 90s sometime.
