Mine was a 66 GMC Suburban. The man who sold it to me told me it could climb a telephone pole in 4WD. The the rear axle separated one day at 60 mph (it was two halves, held together with a simple cotter pin). I still remember watching the wheel roll past me as the 'burb came to a slow grinding 3-wheel stop. Found it out in the sagebrush. Makes changing seals on the PV seem somehow just a little less daunting...but we're drifting off topic.
