I have had problems with the steam valve on my GS3 and decided to rebuild it. I did the rebuild as instructed, and used Molycote 111 for lubrication. When I operate the steam valve now it is not better than before the rebuild. The problem is that the valve takes several seconds to close properly, the steam is gradually decreasing after closing the valve. I believe this is degrading the performance of the steaming. Any suggestions on what might be wrong and how to fix the valve?
