Baby Gaggia flow problem

Hi
I have accidentally run my Baby Gaggia (2004 model) with no water in the reservoir. When I try to run water through the machine, the pump makes a noise, water runs through an overflow on the RHS instead of through the filter holder into a cup. The buttons all work, the heater works and so does the steam nozzle.
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Andrew

If it's anything like the gaggia classic I'd say you need to deair it, on the GC I usually could blow a mouthful of water through the silicon water intake with the pump running In the steam setting followed by immersing it in the tank and then flushing it for a bit without the Pf lockeded in.
Sometimes just tilting to left and right and tapping the machine during a flush with steam on with the reservoir full (no PF) did the thrick.
