I'm a longtime Aeropress/Chemex brew junkie, more recent Kalita brewer, but this thread and the great discussion here has really piqued my curiosity about the Clever. It should arrive tomorrow.

Separately, Tom's revelations about sieving here has also been a fun rabbit hole to dive down. Thanks!

Oh, I meant if the clever design was glass, instead of plastic. I know I constantly hear the bottom disk clanking the underside of the dripper part. Ceramic has been hit or miss for me and I haven't tried the bonavita version.


As for the sieve, that's been an interesting voyage but I can't say I've noticed too much of a difference with the clever. I tried it for French press and it definitely let me drink every last drop without choking on grinds.
