I was gone all last weekend for a 4-day weekend, dealt with the harsh reality of coming back to stackloads of work at my job, but finally it's Saturday and I was able to unbox my Mazzer Mini P from the kind folks at Whole Latte Love!

I get to play with a number of different Mazzer models at different places, but to have one in my home, oh man! Now I'm not going to say anything bad about Rocky (the grinder up to today), but the Mazzer is in a totally different class.



I got it tuned in today for both espresso and French Press, the Mini does awesome on both of them. It's a shame this morning's roasting session of (all new crop!) Rwanda, Kenya, and a moka java (Harrar/Lintong) is all destined for a good friend instead of for my press! Luckily I have a pound of an experimental morning espresso blend I'm working on with a commercial roaster to do tests on.....

Thanks once again to WLL for sponsoring this prize. You guys have had my business in the past, and certainly have it going forward. WLL is a class act and always gets a nod when I'm recommending good places for coffee equipment.

It should be very well-known that I have purchased lots of equipment from ChrisCoffee and they have supported me with fantastic service from the very start (when I was a noname noob Chris took the time to personally help me out).

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Chris again...

Anyway - here's the prize! We have had slow deliveries in our area, no doubt due to shipping and transportation problems. But this sweet machine arrived double-boxed as per Chris' usual excellent shipping service and the machine is in perfect condition.




Just awesome!! I've never been the type to win stuff so I am thrilled!!
