A good friend came to visit from Portland and had a few Stumptown coffees, straight from the Annex, in tow. The prized coffee of the lot was the Panama Don Pachi.
I haven't had the pleasure of having any of the Gesha varietals yet, so I was looking forward to having this coffee.
I've had it twice now via press pot and will be brewing a couple cups via the Hario syphon later.
It cups like the perfect tea--you know the coffee elements are there, but they're almost an afterthought. Jasmine and a lightly sweetened maple body with tinges of tingling grape magically appearing as the central flavors begin to dissipate. A wonderful coffee and a masterful roasting job done by the Stumptown crew.
In-fuc*ing-credible!
