A bell jar shapped thing. It's connected to the line that goes to the round thing in the electronics box - said round thing is the doser on doser machines, but this is manual. What is it? Is it needed?

This is the low-reservoir indicator sensor. Apparently it is not dependable. I disabled it.

Thought better of that and re-enabled it. Seems to work fine for me.
