Trying to view HB but seeing server timeouts or other problems? Below are a couple ways to determine if the problem is the site or something between you and HB:
- Go to Internet Supervision to test the site from your locale; it will open a URL from several locations and return the result to you (enter www.home-barista.com/forums/). If it says it's accessible, then you know the problem is specific to your connection.
- Test the site with Megaproxy's surfing demo. Although it doesn't support POST (you can't log in), it is another way to tell you if the problem is on your end or the site's end.
If these tools report that the site is down, please
e-mail me and I'll notify my ISP. Though their answer is usually "Yes, we know and it is fine now", it never hurts to document access problems.
