I am just looking for some thoughts and opinions and Kristi thank you for your response here and on CG I will look at the Bric more closely.

I am really interested in finding more about the Isomac Mondiale as it is quite unique looking and the machines that I am looking at are all relatively in the same ballpark as far as power is concerned. There really does not seem to be much info on this particular machine, is it a direct connect? Is it a Rotary pump? I have read that it can come either as a direct connect or a pourover but have not seen any info which can verify.

I have an email in to a vendor asking above questions on the Mondiale and I am awaiting a reply.

Last I heard, 1st-line only imports the vibratory pump version. Chris Nachtrieb once asked me to evaluate the rotary model, but he decided not to carry it and my research was cut short. A local friend, David Morris (beta14ok), bought the evaluation model and is very satisifed with it to this day. Questions about this machine come up from time-to-time, e.g., dimensions, advice; search on "mondiale" for more. You're right that it's very high style and the ergonomics are excellent. It's a shame that the rotary version isn't sold in the US.

HB trivia: The Mondiale played a role in the inception of this site. The about page explains.

Thank you for the links and info. Very interesting insight and I guess we have the Mondiale (at least partially) to thank for the inception of this site.

Very interesting. How can I contact Jim, does he have an e-mail address that I can shoot him questions?

You may be better off calling since Jim's likely occupied with preparing his booth for the SCAA conference. See 1st-line equipment for contact information.
