Mazzer Super Jolly before and after conversion to doserless
I'm the wrong person to ask! I'm not a stickler and don't care much about stray grounds

Mazzer Super Jolly before and after conversion to doserless
FINALLY got around to removing my doser after only 10 years....thanks to several posts here. One of them in particular, "Yet another Mazzer Super Jolly doserless conversion", gave me the push because the hard work was done for me. I directed my son (he runs our printers) to the file and asked him to...

New espresso machine, just a couple questions
Thanks everyone, this all helps a lot. One more question, if anyone knows, I assume I need to surf even with the PID since the temp range is obviously way above coffee temps? I guess I think a PID that shows 250 range doesn;t do me a whole lot of good? Never had a PID before

New espresso machine, just a couple questions
OK the machine arrives tomrrow. I plan on using bottled water for now. Bought a TDS meter and the tap water came out at 148 and the bottles came out at 98. My confusion is that I don't know how this relates to hardness

New espresso machine, just a couple questions
After 13 years we are moving from our Vetrano Rotary to a smaller machine. Our needs have changed, fewer people using the machine, almost zero milk drinks and need to get a pour over because we are moving the machine location. So I ordered an Izzo VIVI and have just a quick couple of questions, some...

Coffee for large family every morning
OK, our family is large and has increased to a minimum of 9 healthy cups per day. A 12 cup drip stopped sufficing for us long ago. We have used a large press for a few years but it's become tiresome to brew 2 pots and use thermals. Is there another solution I'm overlooking? It needs

Hmmm... Quickmill Vetrano not heating after descale
Eric, Well that raises a few questions then: 1. There may have been thread locker but I didn't see much evidence if there were. I used high quality Teflon to put it back on. Should that not work? 2. OK, the pinhole thing has me scared. Is it not then normal for

Hmmm... Quickmill Vetrano not heating after descale
No indication really other than some green tinted water, but that's really just indicative that the acid was in contact with copper I think. I've been told that the mushroom scales much worse than the boiler. Mine was fairly scaled BUT I'd have to say that after 6 years I would have expected less. T...

Hmmm... Quickmill Vetrano not heating after descale
OK, well I figured it out. First, I had tripped the GFI, which I hadn't noticed right away. Anyway, I reset that and the machine kicked back on. Unfortunately after heating and almost reaching pressure it tripped the GFI again. Kind of had me stumped for a few minutes (well stumped is putting it mil...
