VST baskets and calibrated tamper
it isn't all about having exactly this pressure. it is about having the exact same pressure every time. consistency is the real issue here. can anyone recommend me a calibrated or adjustable tamper that fits vst or genuine lm baskets please?

VST baskets and calibrated tamper
thank you all for the answers so far. exactly, calibrated for 30lbs pressure. are there any for this size? (yes, i meant 58.3-58.4, not 53-54) i would prefer one that fits exact, i am experiencing constant problems with channeling, it's one or two small factors that potentially could go wrong elimin...

VST baskets and calibrated tamper
hello, i am interested in buying a ridgeless vst basket, but i also want to get a calibrated tamper. and there is a problem. the genuine vst tamper is painfully expensive, and not calibrated. and good calibrated tamper like the espro is 58mm, while the vst tampers should be 53-54mm. reg barber makes...

wait a second "Unfortunately, your attempt to compensate for this with a long preinfusion is confusing matters and is probably the main reason for your having to exert considerable pressure on the pull." i was thinking that a longer pre-infusion was making the pull easier, not harder? is that wrong?
