My first attempt at latte art
I would stick to a latte art heart as your 1st attempt. Swans are a little more advanced. It is Valentine's Day after all

Help with issues exposed by bottomless portafilter!
You said that the shot from the last video was 56 sec., but I would've stopped the shot about 15-17 sec. sooner when it started to blonde. That would have made it a about a 40 sec. shot. Of course you wouldn't have got your 36g in the cup. Can you adjust your grinder somewhere between your last 2 vi...

Sometimes it's hard to make coffee before coffee
One time I ground some coffee into my portafilter I keep my blind filter in. Luckily I realized something was wrong when I started stirring with my Levercraft WDT tool. That probably wouldn't have turned out very well!

I've been really enjoying this coffee but it's on the expensive side. But now it's 25% off today & tomorrow @Bodhi Leaf. Code "NICARAGUA". {link} fRES As espresso it's vibrant, sweet, juicy,fruity...just as their write-up describes it. As an Americano it's lively and elegantly nuanced (my descriptio...

Todd @ WLL generously offered to send me a new replacement brew gauge which I graciously accepted. When the package arrived I was surprised that it included a new FC kit which includes the gauge. I replaced both and now everything seems to be working to my satisfaction. So I really can't say definit...

Hi Bryan; Yes, my FC knob turns 2 revolutions. I keep it at 1.5 revolutions when I'm not using the FC or I'm dialing in a new coffee. At this location I'm getting the recommended 8 grams of water per second which I believe is the standard flow rate for a Vibe pump machine. The shot timer certainly h...

Thanks Philip. Yes, I saw that diagram with the parts #. I was hoping I could find it on-line, but I guess not. I'll probably contact WLL or maybe Todd will chime in. Maybe an idea for future iterations of the Classika Todd? I don't want to go the wooden knob route because then I'd feel

Something trivial. On the Mechanika V Slim, I really like the pop of red that the washers on the steam and water knobs give to the overall aesthetics of that machine. I'd love to add that to the steam/water knob on my Classika. That being said, I can not find that Mechanika part on-line. I could onl...
