ECM Giotto - steam comes out grouphead
I have had an ECM Giotto for years, but recently it been behaving erratically. If I leave it on for a couple of hours and try to make coffee no water comes out of the group head just steam. I descaled it and it was better for awhile. I thought maybe the pump, but it works fine. Any suggestions?

ECM Giotto died and need a bit of help
Vanelis has Giotto parts. I've had better luck with them then the others mentioned {link}. You can use the part #s from Nuova Ricambi USA {link} Vanelis is retail outlet for them. Ted

ECM Giotto Over Pressure
I haven't had a chance to take the machine apart yet, but it turns out if I don't leave it on over night it works fine. Leading me to believe that there is a cold solder joint in the control box. It's only expands when exposed to heat for too long to break the contact. I've seen the same thing

ECM Giotto Over Pressure
My ECM Giotto works fine, but after a few hours of being on the pressure gauge will go up to 1.7 bars, and steam comes out of the relief valve. I thought it was the pressure stat and replaced that. It was ok for a bit, and then starting doing it again. If I reduce the pressure with the

I have 3 or four of this type. Denatured is the way to go. Isopropyl is not good. Everclear will work, but why pay the money.
