Unfortunately no. The deep clean seemed to initially help but just a few days later I am back in the same problem

OE Apex strange noises + resistance
Yeah, that was my thought too... I expected to see something broken when I did the deep clean but everything was normal. All bearings spun properly, everything moving as expected

OE Apex strange noises + resistance
Yes they are at very course settings too. I tried knocking it a bunch and grinds fall out but nothing else changes. The handle has resistance like a wound up spring. It's so strange... and SUPER annoying

OE Apex strange noises + resistance
Hello, my Orphan Espresso Apex (3yrs old) is making a winding noise and now feels like it is actually "winding up" a spring or something (the spring auger is NOT installed) while turning in either direction. I have taken it apart regularly to clean it and have now cleaned it as deep as possible with...

ECM Synchronika not staying at temperature
Ok, so the SSR's arrived and are installed. The temp seems to be getting back to where it needs to be each time... however... it seems like it is taking a long time to do that. I pull one 30s shot and the temp on my PID goes from the 205 that it's set at... to 195 by the

ECM Synchronika boiler temperature sensor leak
Word of caution here. My Synchronika did the same thing. I also used teflon tape, but because the temperature sensor goes into the boiler some of the tape heated, melted into the boiler and was coming out of the group head for a few weeks following. So I would recommend just thread taping the top pa...
