Londinium I - domestic lever espresso machine with commercial group

with that kind of group (open, big heavy brass, always losing heat), and that kind of temperature stability i would like to know how much power does it consume please kindly provide some watts per hour number if it is possible thanks in advance

Hario V60 Pourover by Matt Perger [video]

I like to stir too, but I stir on the second pour, not the first one. Just trying to mimic the cupping procedure. I also find that stirring causes the fine to migrate to the side and bottom of the filter, which cause slowing down the pour. Nice vid

i find that it ... 1. extends the life of the v shape seals. 2. better stability = smoother movement of the piston it may have other reasons, but i am satisfied with how it performs right now

Need help with new Vibiemme double boiler

may be setting a little hotter temp would help. it is a huge chunk of brass at the group to absorb a lot of heat from the hx that is now used for dedicated boiler. a good long flush (preferably with coffee) will also heat up the group too. oh, i thought the water going to brew boiler also

There is also another possibility of pump sucking in some air from the water tank path. Even a tiny small leak somewhere could be a big problem

i believe it is a rotary pump ? try to check at the water path before the valve that switch between water main and tank. check the valve itself (take it out and see whether it works perfectly. also a breakage at the pipe that goes inside the tank might cause the problem. hope you could fix it soon
