Rocky Grinder Died - Help!
Thanks for all the help. Aparently there was a loose connection in the grinder plug as wiggling the cord where it terminates at the plug brought the grinder back to life. Mystery solved

Rocky Grinder Died - Help!
Nothing jammed or stuck - bottom carrier spins smooth as butter. 1. Not on, unfortunately 2. outlet is fine - and tested grinder on other outlets with same result. I also opened the bottom to see if any accessible electrical contacts became loose - everything "looks" ok. Thanks for the suggestions, ...

Rocky Grinder Died - Help!
Though I have been considering replacing my 4 year old Rocky, I have yet to do so and the thing just stopped working tonight. It is a doserless model, and I gave it a tap on the side as the grinding was essentially done to knock out any lingering grounds (which I actually rarely do ), and the motor ...

Isomac Tea -- No pressure in portafilter when hot
Is the priming valve necessary and what purpose does it serve? I only ask this because I recently plumbed in my ECM Cellini (same internals as Giotto) vibe pump machine with an ECM kit and the directions stated to remove the priming valve. I have been operating this way for a few months and have not...

Wiring Sirai Pressurestat
That I don't know, but Sirai now makes a smaller p-stat (model 303) that is the same height and width but almost half the weight and length - this might be of interest to you. George

Wiring Sirai Pressurestat
Thanks for clearing that up for me! As for the Mater, it is not actually being replaced (yet, anyway). The Sirai was recently purchased (for about $20cdn more than a Mater would have cost me) as a back-up for the day that the Mater does finally quit on me. Just wanted to test drive the Sirai to make...
